Decyl Glucoside

This is a glucose-based surfactant commonly used in shampoos and body washes. Decyl Glucoside is formed by reacting a 10 carbon chain alcohol, decyl alcohol, with a cyclic form of glucose. In cosmetics and personal care products, it function as surfactants and cleansing agents.
